Cruise ships headed to Barcelona do not plan changing their destination, timetables or logistics, despite of the terrorist attack yesterday. Barcelona is one of the most important cruise destinations in the Mediterranean, visited by hundreds of ships and millions of passengers from all over the world each year.
After the terrorist attack yesterday afternoon, there were no reported passengers and crew missing. At the time of the accident in the city were docked the Royal Caribbean Brilliance of the Seas, P&O Cruises ship Britannia and Thomson Cruises TUI Discovery 2. All the vessels departed from the Catalonian capital according to the schedule.
Today, without any change in plans, will arrive MSC Meraviglia with 4500 passengers on board, Oceania Sirena with 677 passengers, Aida Perla with 3,286 people and Aida Stella with 2,300 guests.
For tomorrow are scheduled docking of Disney Magic with 2,400 passengers and Costa Fascinosa with 3,800 passengers. For Sunday are expected the crude ships Norwegian Epic with 4,100 people and Freedom of the Seas with 3,900 people.
