RoRo Car/Passenger Ferry in very good condition and has reliable engineering. The ship was built in 1989 by Mitsubishi Shipyard in Japan, having good quality of construction. The vessel is currently laid-up since October 2015 at Hiroshima in Kanda Shipbuilding yard dock. Before the vessel was operational on route Incheon-Jeju in period 2003-2014. The RoRo Car/Passenger Ferry has overall length of 141.50, while the length between perpendiculars is 130.00 m. The moulded beam of the ship is 22.00 m, while boards depth is 13.85 m and the maximum draft is 6.21 m. The gross tonnage is 6,322 GRT and the deadweight is 3,424 DWT.
The ferry has capacity to carry 937 passengers, including 2 deluxe rooms and 11 first class rooms. Also can be boarded 68 cars, or 31 trucks (or 36 trailers). The total vehicles capacity is 2,100 tons. The boarding is done through the stern ramp.
The engineering is reliable and working. The main engines are two NKK Pielstick 12PC 2-6V, each with output power of 9,000 hp at 520 rpm. The total output power of main engine system is 18,000 hp, which allows the ferry to operate with service speed of 18.0-21.0 kts, while the maximum speed achieved during sea trials was 23.0 kts. On board also are installed three diesel generators Daihatsu, each with power of 1,300 hp at 720 rpm.
The ferry is fitted with stabilizers, thruster for easier maneuvering and etc. The last survey was passed in March 2013.
